FILM FESTIVAL KADER 2025 \u2013 TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION<\/h1>

Valid for the festival taking place October 23\u201325, 2025. <\/p>

1. General provisions<\/h2>
  1. The Kaader 2025 Film Festival (hereinafter referred to as the \u201cFestival\u201d) will take place on 23\u201325 October 2025 in Rapla and will be a 24-hour film competition in its format. <\/li>
  2. Up to 30 film teams will be allowed to participate in the festival. Teams will be selected based on motivational videos or letters received by the organizer. <\/li><\/ol><\/section>

    2. Participation fee and tickets<\/h2>
    1. The participation fee is \u20ac140<\/strong> per team.<\/li>
    2. The participation fee includes 7 passes<\/strong> to the festival events between 23 and 25 October 2025, including the closing night event at Rapla Cultural Centre. <\/li>
    3. If there are more members in the team who wish to participate in the festival in Rapla, the regular ticket price will be added.<\/li><\/ol><\/section>

      3. Theme and categories<\/h2>
      1. The film\u2019s theme and category are at the film team\u2019s free choice.<\/li><\/ol><\/section>

        4. Rules for creating a film<\/h2>
        1. Filming must take place between October 23, 2025 at 2:00 PM<\/strong> and October 24, 2025 at 2:00 PM<\/strong>.<\/li>
        2. Filming can start and end anywhere in Estonia<\/strong>.<\/li>
        3. Preparatory work (script, casting, location planning, etc.) is allowed before the official filming period begins.<\/li>
        4. To ensure a simultaneous start, the organizer will announce an additional condition<\/strong> on the start day that all teams must implement in the film.<\/li>
        5. The maximum duration of the film is 5 minutes<\/strong> (without end credits); end credits up to 30 seconds<\/strong>.<\/li>
        6. Technical requirements:
          • File format: MP4<\/strong><\/li>
          • Resolution: maximum 1920 \u00d7 1080 px<\/strong> (a larger original file can also be attached separately)<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
          • The language of the film is not limited.<\/li>
          • All elements of the film (music, visual material, graphics, etc.) must comply with copyright laws.<\/li><\/ol><\/section>

            5. Film submission and evaluation<\/h2>
            1. Completed films must be submitted to the environment designated by the organizer no later than October 24, 2025 at 2:00 PM<\/strong>. The corresponding upload environment and instructions will be sent to participants before the start of the competition. <\/li>
            2. On the evening of October 24, all submitted films will be screened at Rapla Cinema in front of the jury and audience.<\/li>
            3. The jury will select the 10 best films that will advance to the final round.<\/li>
            4. The films that have made it to the final round will be screened at Rapla Okta Centrum on October 25, 2025.<\/strong> The order and names of the films will only be announced during the screening. <\/li><\/ol><\/section>

              6. Awards<\/h2>
              1. The festival’s Grand Prix<\/strong> (main prize) is a cash prize of \u20ac2,500<\/strong>.<\/li>
              2. In addition, the following award categories will be awarded:
                • Best Visual<\/li>
                • Best Actor<\/li>
                • Best Actress<\/li>
                • Audience favourite<\/li>
                • Grand Prix (main prize)<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
                • The jury has the right to award additional special prizes.<\/li><\/ol><\/section>

                  7. Content restrictions<\/h2>
                  1. Pornographic or otherwise sexually explicit content, including any sexual content or innuendo related to minors, is prohibited <\/strong>(zero tolerance).<\/li>
                  2. Hateful, racist, discriminatory, glorifying violence, or extremely graphic content is not allowed.<\/li>
                  3. Promoting illegal activities and teaching or encouraging dangerous activities is not permitted.<\/li>
                  4. The organizer has the right to reject <\/strong>or remove<\/strong> a film that does not meet the conditions from the program.<\/li><\/ol><\/section>

                    8. Participant’s obligations<\/h2>
                    1. The participant guarantees that his\/her film complies with these terms and conditions and applicable legislation.<\/li>
                    2. The participant grants the organizer the right to show their film within the festival and in related marketing activities.<\/li>
                    3. The film may also be created and presented remotely, without being present at the on-site festival.<\/li><\/ol><\/section>

                      9. Other provisions<\/h2>
                      1. The organizer has the right to change these terms and conditions by notifying participants in advance via e-mail.<\/li>
