Register for the XX Film Festival Kaader – main prize €2,500

The Kaader film festival will take place on October 23–25, bringing together 30 film teams. If you would like your team to be among them, fill out the registration form below.

The most important thing when making a selection is the team’s motivation letter or video. We strongly recommend submitting a video, as it will better convey your creativity, ideas, and team spirit.

In addition to the others, at least 10 teams from the youth film category will be able to participate in the XX Kaader Film Festival. If the average age of the film's authors is up to 19 years, it will be assigned to the youth film category.

Dates & times

Filming: 23.10 14:00 → 24.10 14:00 (24 h)
Screenings and ratings: 24.10 Rapla Kino
Parima 10 linastus: 25.10 Okta Centrum
On the same day, a separate condition confirming the joint start will be sent, which the film crew must fulfill.

Participation

Up to 30 teams (selection based on motivational video/letter)
Participation fee: €140 / team → includes 7 tickets (October 23–25, incl. after-party)
If there are more members in the team who wish to participate in the festival in Rapla, the regular ticket price will be added.
Filming and completion can be done anywhere in Estonia; participation is possible remotely

Movie requirements

Duration: up to 5:00 (+ subtitles up to 0:30)
Format: MP4
Resolution: up to 1920 × 1080 px when submitted (a larger original can be attached separately)
Copyright: All content must be legal

Scoring & selection

The jury will evaluate all films on October 24 at Rapla Cinema
Top 10 will be screened on October 25th at Okta Centrum (names/ranking will be announced in the hall)
