We are delighted to announce that this year’s main prize of the XIXth Frame Film Festival is a special one – the winner will receive €500! This is a great opportunity for young and talented filmmakers who want to showcase their work to a wider audience and put their filmmaking skills to the test.
Kaadri festival is unique in the Estonian film world – participants are challenged to create a short film in just 24 hours. Filmmakers have to show quick thinking, collaboration and creativity to achieve a great result. In addition to the cash grand prize, the prize fund is constantly growing and has been sponsored by Selver, Saku Läte, Eckerö Line, SEIK, Nogel Organics and many others.
Why the Frame?
Frame is the ideal opportunity for those who want to start their journey in the film world or challenge themselves in an intense and creative format. It brings together young people, students and experienced filmmakers to create a unique film experience.
How to get involved?
It’s easy to enter – register your team and be ready to film, edit and present your best work within 24 hours. All films will compete in three categories: youth films (14-19 years), student films (20-26 years) and general short films (27+). The best films will go through to the final, where they will be judged by a professional jury.
